INTERNSHIP OPPORTUNITY ANNOUNCEMENT

Middle East Investment Initiative (MEII) is a non-profit organization delivering innovative finance and technical assistance programs to stimulate sustainable economic activities. MEII is looking for hardworking, enthusiastic candidates for three to six months internship.
DUTIES/JOB DESCRIPTION: The intern will be working closely with the business advisors during the internship period to provide financial services and specially bookkeeping services to qualified SMEs.
Responsibilities include:
- Weekly visits to pre-selected SMEs to provide financial support and bookkeeping.
- On a quarterly basis, the intern will visit the SME to review and explain the financial reports and to follow up on financial strategy.
- Assist the business advisor in daily assignments.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Graduate student or enrolled in third year of Accounting BA(minor in finance will be a plus)
- Excellent writing and communication skills
- Very good computer skills, especially Microsoft Excel
- Available at least one day a week
- Number of candidates: 15-20
COMPENSATION:
- Coverage for any expenses related to the required job.
- After successful completion of assignments the intern will be provided with an Internship Certificate from MEII.
- Practical experience in the field of study.
- NGO working experience.
